John is an accomplished International Speaker and Workshop Presenter. His presentations have taken him across Canada, the United States and Japan. His expertise in the areas of disabilities, accessibility and inclusion was enriched through hands-on experience. John is a fierce advocate for persons with disabilities and has committed his life to advocacy.

Strengthened by his thirty plus years as an award-winning elected public school board trustee and dedicated involvement in special education he delivers a wealth of experience, knowledge and insight into the challenges faced by both children and adults living with disability. The empathy and passion sprinkled with a dash of humor, delivered in every engagement can not be learned through formal education.

John's track record as an outspoken advocate and speaker have resulted in countless opportunities to present to a wide and diverse mix of audiences.

Among the many highlights of his speaking career are his five appearances as a presenter at the Pacific Rim International Conference on Diversity & Disabilities held in Honolulu.

John is an active member of the Canadian Association of Professional Speakers and is represented by Damon Brooks and Associates, a Division of the Gersher Non-Profit Organization, their major focus and expertise is in the area of disabilites.
